Project Manager

About the Role

Our client is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Project Manager to join their team in Antwerp. This role is perfect for someone eager to take on complex engineering projects, from modern machinery and precision-calibrated production lines to large-scale infrastructure. You will be involved in the full project lifecycle, ensuring the seamless transition from design and fabrication to installation and post-commissioning follow-up.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Oversight: Lead and manage diverse engineering projects, ensuring they are executed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Operational Coordination: Work closely with production teams, proactively identifying and resolving process inefficiencies, deviations, and operational challenges.
• Engineering & Innovation: Drive the design, implementation, and optimization of mechanical systems, movement works, and fully integrated structures.
• Process Optimization & Quality Control: Utilize FMEA and other quality management techniques to improve system stability, safety, and efficiency.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Serve as the central point of contact between engineering teams, contractors, suppliers, and clients, ensuring alignment on objectives and deliverables.
• End-to-End Project Execution: Oversee projects from concept to commissioning, ensuring smooth transitions between engineering, fabrication, installation, and ongoing maintenance.
• Technical Documentation & Compliance: Maintain detailed technical records, ensuring projects meet regulatory, safety, and operational standards.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electromechanical, or Industrial).
• Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience in project management within an engineering environment.
• Strong experience with FMEA, CAPEX management, and project planning.
• Fluency in English and Dutch, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Hands-on mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Proficiency in CAD software and other project management tools.
