Full-stack Developer (Mid-Senior)

Strategic Staffing Solutions International’s client is a Danish EnergyTech company with a development office in Lithuania, specializing in software solutions for automated energy planning, portfolio optimization, and energy trading, including ancillary services. The company's solutions are built on a proprietary software platform, Aggregator-as-a-Service, which combines near real-time stream processing with advanced energy forecasting, aggregation, and optimization techniques, leveraging Big Data, Industrial IoT, and Machine Learning/AI.

By joining the company, you will help shape the European electricity landscape, promote renewable energy, and reduce reliance on fossil fuels, contributing to a greener future. As a Full-stack Developer, you will play a crucial role in building a microservice-based platform that integrates electrical assets such as batteries, wind and solar parks, and EVs, enabling the trading of energy and flexibility of these assets across various markets.

What some of your responsibilities and tasks will look like:

• Develop backend and frontend components for dealing with energy assets and markets.
• Improve platform's usability and overall user experience.
• Create agents that facilitate automated energy and flexibility trading.
• Implement client-specific requirements, adapt and enhance the platform.
• Upgrade development and deployment environments, and refine workflows.
• Provide the ongoing maintenance of the operational platform instances, ensuring their smooth functionality.

For a PERFECT match, you will need:

• 3+ years (Mid-level) to 5+ years (Senior-level) of experience in developing full-stack applications.
• Knowledge of Vue.js, React.js, Typescript, or JavaScript tooling (e.g., PNPM, NX, Vite, Rollup) and component frameworks (e.g., Vuetify, Quasar)
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented and functional programming languages (Scala, Java, Kotlin, or C#) and key principles 
• Experience in using version control systems (primarily Git)
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong written and spoken English skills (at least B2 level)

Additional skills that will make you stand out:

• Experience developing mobile, web, and/or single-page applications (SPA)
• Experience with CQRS, reactive streams, microservice architectures
• Experience integrating systems using 3rd-party APIs (e.g., OpenAPI/Swagger, Google Protocol Buffers (Protobuf), gRPC, etc.)
• Prior experience with Scrum workflow
