Lead Studio Designer

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of 3D designers, overseeing employee development and performance
• Collaborate closely with the studio build, product, design teams to ensure team goals are achieved
• Develop and implement timelines to meet targets efficiently
• Plan and coordinate updates across management systems while ensuring effective task prioritization
• Work on refining processes, documentation guidelines, and driving continuous improvements
• Ensure timely and successful project delivery in alignment with the department's roadmap
• Participate in hiring, interviewing, and onboarding new designers
• Define design objectives and ensure designers meet them
• Conceptualize and sketch design plans and elements
• Oversee procurement and budgeting requirements
• Assist in sourcing materials and products for projects
• Develop conceptual designs to communicate creative direction
• Utilize relevant software and tools in the design process
• Deliver design outputs on schedule across all project phases
• Coordinate with the production design team to provide necessary information
• Plan and enhance the team's skills and expertise
• Explore potential future improvements and innovations for studio designs
• Handle additional tasks as required by the company, within the scope of expertise
• Maintain strong communication skills, agility, and precision in execution

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Arts, Interior Design, or a related field (preferred)
• Proven experience in design projects
• Prior leadership experience in managing a team of designers
• Experience in the iGaming industry
• Proficiency in 3ds Max, AutoCAD, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Corona Render
• Experience in illustration, animation, or related fields (advantageous)
• Familiarity with Adobe After Effects and Premiere (a plus)
• Basic project management abilities
• Creativity, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
• Ability to meet deadlines and perform under pressure
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Advanced proficiency in English, both written and spoken
