DevOps Engineer

Description

Moon Active, one of the world's fastest-growing mobile game companies, provides entertainment to millions of active users across the universe.

We're looking for a talented and experienced DevOps Engineer.

This position will allow you to work on our highly scalable gaming backend and our massive data processing pipeline, ingesting billions of daily events, and making sure our systems and infrastructures scale and perform at optimal levels.

Responsibilities

Responsible for CI infrastructure, CI builds and CI Monitoring for Game Client;
Build and maintain Game Client CI infrastructure, tools and services (Defold engine);
Improve delivery and availability of CI builds for Game Client;
Provide necessary inputs to Solution Architecture and Infrastructure Design;
Work alongside Architects, Developers, System Administrators, and other tech leads in the company.

Requirements

4+ years experience as DevOps/BUILD/CI engineer;
Experience with scripting fundamentals (Python, Bash, Ruby, Lua, etc.);
In-depth knowledge of version control systems, build/release systems, CI/CD systems (Git, fastlane, GitHub actions, etc.);
Hands on experience with Unix based systems (Linux, MacOS);
Understanding of monitoring and logging tools;
Experience with containerised environments and microservices (Docker, Kubernetes);
A state of mind to automate manual efforts;
A strong sense of ownership and accountability;
Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
Fluency in English is a must.

ADVANTAGES

Experience developing mobile applications;
Game technology background (Engine programming, pipeline architecture, tools, etc.);
Understanding of basic security principles for containers and cloud;
Experience with cloud providers such as GCP, AWS, Azure;
Experience with IaC tools (Terraform, Crossplane, Ansible, etc.).

Gross salary 6,000 - 8,000 EUR/month. We are open to discuss a salary based on your competencies and skills.
