Product Owner

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Owner/Product Manager with a strong background in regulated industries, specifically within the fintech, crypto, or payments sectors. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SCRUM methodology and a proven track record of successfully managing products through their entire lifecycle. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong leadership abilities, and the capability to work effectively in a startup or scale-up environment.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or in a related role.
• >3 years in a regulated business
• >1 years of experience in crypto or payments
• Experience in a startup or scale-up environment.
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
• MUST be a good communicator in English, capable of describing complex abstractions in simple words, using visual aids if necessary.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle.
• Strong understanding of software development processes and technologies.
• Basic understanding of UX/UI principles and practices.
• Ability to understand business goals, customer needs, and market trends.
• Experience in market research, competitor analysis, and identifying business opportunities.
• Strategic thinking and innovative mind-set.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Quality-oriented mind-set and attention to details.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to interact successfully within all levels of the organization.
• Four days per week work from the office is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of the product lifecycle, from ideation to launch, ensuring the product meets business goals and customer needs.
• Lead cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and stakeholders, in an Agile/SCRUM environment to deliver high-quality products on time.
• Manage and mentor remote team members, ensuring alignment with the product vision and goals.
• Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and identify new business opportunities to inform product strategy.
• Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment, always keeping the customer experience at the forefront.
• Convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in clear and simple terms, using visual aids when necessary.
• Identify and mitigate risks, making informed decisions in uncertain conditions.
• Utilize strong analytical skills to make data-driven decisions that align with business objectives.
