Data Scientist Intern – Electricity Markets (Forecasting)

💡 What You’ll Do

• Develop and improve models for forecasting short-term markets with major focus on Nordic balancing market and ancillary services markets.
• Work with large datasets from market operators, weather services, and grid operators.
• Apply machine learning, statistical modelling, and time series analysis techniques.
• Collaborate with a team of data scientists, engineers, and energy market analysts.
• Communicate insights through dashboards, reports, and presentations.
• Help with developing our platforms for analysis.
  
  

📚 What We’re Looking For

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.
• Strong Python skills.
• Experience with time series forecasting techniques.
• Familiarity with electricity markets, energy trading, or renewable energy forecasting is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
