Technical Support Engineer

Brief Job Description:

• Provide technical guidance and support to customers, helping them resolve any issues related to the application or systems.
• Ensure that systems are running at optimal performance, addressing any issues as they arise.
• Manage and prioritize open tickets, ensuring timely resolution and communication with clients.
• Maintain clear documentation of support cases, resolutions, and tasks assigned.
• Participate issue analysis and log managements.
• Resolve issues proactively to deliver high quality products based on customers’ needs.
• Take ownership and responsibility for solutions provided.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, EEE, or related field.
• 1 - 5 years of experience as Technical Support Engineering.
• Experience with Linux OS internals and command line.
• Hands-on experience on writing scripts and automation using Python, Bash is a must
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Passion for learning and adapting to new technologies.

Nice to have

• Experience with CI/CD practices, Jenkins solutions, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Experience with Version Control Tools especially Git.
• Experience with Log Management Systems (e.g., ELK stack).
• Familiarity with Nexus
• Knowledge on general concepts of Huawei Cloud, IBM cloud, AWS , Azure or Google cloud is a plus
