SAP Project Manager

We are currently seeking a SAP Project Manager for one of our very well-known American multinational clients, to be based in their Dubai office.

Job Purpose:

As an SAP Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end management of SAP implementation projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, senior leadership, and external vendors to ensure the seamless integration and operation of SAP solutions. Job Description:

• Lead the planning and implementation of SAP projects, including requirements gathering, project scope definition, and resource allocation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring adherence to timelines and financial targets.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery while managing stakeholder expectations.
• Manage project risks, issues, and changes effectively, taking proactive measures to address challenges.
• Oversee resource allocation, ensuring the right mix of skills and expertise across the project team.
• Maintain strong communication with senior management and business units to ensure alignment with business needs.
• Coordinate and liaise with third-party vendors, contractors, and consultants when necessary.
• Ensure quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle, including user acceptance testing (UAT) and go-live support.
• Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring financial goals are met and project costs are controlled.
• Provide post-implementation support, ensuring smooth transition and operational success.

Skills:

• Experience: Bachelor’s Degree majors in Information Technology or Business. At least 10 years of experience managing SAP implementation projects, with hands-on experience in multiple SAP modules (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SAP FICO, SAP MM, SAP PS, SAP SD).
• Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent project management certification preferred. SAP-specific certification is a must.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of SAP functionality and best practices.
• Leadership: Proven leadership skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and manage cross-functional teams.
• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a strong focus on delivering results.
• Time Management: Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Methodology Expertise: Experience with project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid.
