What You’ll Do

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer who will operate in our A.I. business unit. Candidates will directly support Blackpoint’s cyber security mission, helping to stop cyber-attacks, and protecting Blackpoint’s rapidly growing customer base.
Summary
As DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for building out Blackpoint Cyber’s DevOps solutions to support development of our A.I. products and features. You will report directly to the Head of Artificial Intelligence.

Blackpoint Cyber is looking for someone who has:
Base Salary CA$131K – CA$149K
The above sets forth the annual base salary range in CAD for this role exclusive of any discretionary bonus that may be awarded. Actual compensation will be based on an assessment of factors including the successful candidate’s location, experience, skill, and other job-related factors.

Who You Are
Blackpoint Cyber is looking for someone who has:
- 5+ years of experience in hands-on DevOps Engineering, with a track record of supporting delivery of A.I. products and services into production.
- Experience building in the well-architected mindset—for efficiency, performance, security, and reliability.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experienced in:
- Cloud-based ML Infrastructure (AWS)
- A.I. CI/CD & Deployment Operations (GH Actions)
- IaC Development & Deployment (Terraform)
- Systems Operation & Administration
- Config Management (IAM, Networking, Security)
- Automation & Orchestration Pipelines
- Build, Test, & Monitoring Frameworks
- Containerized Services (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Scripting Language (Bash, Python)
- Query Language (SQL)
- GitFlow & DevOps Best Practices
- Nice to Have:
- Familiarity with MLOps Frameworks (Airflow, MLFlow, KubeFlow)
- Agile Scrum
- Experience in Cybersecurity, IoT, or NLP fields
- Build, administrate, & operate infrastructure for A.I. development & deployment.
- Develop, deploy, & manage Infrastructure as Code.
- Implement & enforce operational environment standardization
- Automate & orchestrate containerized services & pipelines for CI/CD.
- Conduct build, load, & deployment testing of delivered A.I. solutions.
- Develop utilities for monitoring oversight of deployed infrastructure.
- Implement data, systems, & DevOps best practices.
- Contribute to A.I. architectural & infrastructural decisions.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Blackpoint Cyber’s Security Operations Center (SOC), and our Adversary Pursuit Group (APG).
