Android Engineer – Onsite NY - $150K - $220K - Fintech App - Series D growing start-up

TDL are partnered with a Series D, steadily scaling Fintech Product, helping them hire an additional Android Engineer to help build the next iteration of their flagship mobile app. You'll join a world-class distributed across NY and SF.

As an Android Engineer, you will design, build, and launch new features. You will help establish engineering processes and best practices for scaling, conduct code reviews, and set engineering standards. Collaborating with Product and Design teams, you will identify key app features and continuously improve our product based on customer feedback.

We are looking for someone with at least two years of commercial Android development experience and proficiency in Kotlin.

You should have experience launching at least one mobile app or major features that reached a large audience, along with a strong understanding of mobile design patterns and best practices.

Knowledge of Android UI components and the Android SDK is essential, as well as a passion for fast-paced environments and continuous learning.

Ideal candidates may also have experience with Compose, MVVM, coroutines, Flow, and Bitrise. Exposure to web apps using React or JavaScript, familiarity with backend technologies like Python, Flask, SQL, or OpenAPI, and experience managing apps in the Google Play Console are all a plus.

This company are currently prioritising applicants based locally in New York or San Francisco and can support visa transfer now/in future if required.
