Data Analyst

Job Summary:

Join Amazon's Delivery CX team as a Business Intelligence Engineer to elevate the delivery experience for customers. Your role will involve translating business inquiries into quantitative questions, developing performance metrics, creating data visualizations, and proposing solutions to enhance delivery convenience. Utilize one of the world's largest data warehouses to extract insights and drive strategic decisions.

Responsibilities:

- Translate business questions into specific quantitative questions answerable with available data

- Develop and maintain performance metrics, reports, and dashboards for informed decision-making

- Create data visualizations to effectively communicate insights

- Present critical data in a format conducive to improving system performance

- Build decision-making models and propose solutions for identified business problems

- Deliver presentations to share insights with diverse audiences

- Implement best practices in reporting, analysis, and experiment design

- Apply data mining and statistical models to enhance customer experience

Skills:

- 3+ years of data analysis experience with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL, etc.

- Proficiency in data visualization tools like Tableau or Quicksight

- Familiarity with data modeling, warehousing, and ETL pipelines

- Knowledge of Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS, and Matlab

- Ability to use SQL for database querying and Python for data processing

Qualifications:

- Experience with AWS solutions like S3 and Redshift preferred

- Background in data mining, ETL processes, and working with large-scale datasets in a business setting

Contract Length: 10 Months

Location: Bellevue WA (Onsite)

Pay range: $30 - $34 per hour
