Forte Group is looking for a Principal Backend Developer.

Our client is an AI-powered platform that simplifies and accelerates the process of responding to RFPs, RFIs, security questionnaires, and other complex tender documents. Their intelligent AI Copilot, centralized Answer Library, and seamless collaboration tools enable businesses to optimize proposal workflows, reduce manual effort, and increase productivity.

The team is rapidly scaling, with an ambitious roadmap that includes enhancing ChatGPT-driven UI and workflows, scaling operations by Q3, and expanding feature development. To achieve this, we are looking for high-caliber engineers who are passionate about building cutting-edge AI-driven solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of AI-driven UI workflows, integrating ChatGPT capabilities to optimize the user experience.
• Design and implement high-performance backend services using Phel, TypeScript, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, and Node.js containers in a continuous development architecture.
• Architect and build scalable integrations with third-party tools such as SharePoint, Confluence, Salesforce, and other enterprise platforms.
• Own the full development lifecycle, from designing solutions to deployment and optimization.
• Improve and maintain containerized services while ensuring reliability, security, and performance at scale.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in full-stack or backend engineering, ideally in a fast-scaling AI or SaaS environment.
• Strong experience with TypeScript, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, and Node.js.
• Experience with containerized architectures (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.) and continuous development practices.
• Proficiency in Phel or functional programming is a plus.
• Knowledge of AI-driven applications and NLP models like ChatGPT is highly desirable.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Upper-Intermediate English level or higher
