Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent proven experience
• 4+ years' experience building and operating large scale, highly available, cloud based distributed systems
• Mandatory Experience using cloud technologies such as AWS, Oracle Cloud, Azure, GCP etc..
• Demonstrated ability to write great code using Java, GoLang, C#, or similar OO languages
• Strong understanding of SQL and Database concepts
• Experience building and owning infrastructure software or distributed systems, including supporting production operations.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical skills, with excellent problem solving abilities
• Knowledge of software engineering standard methodologies for the full software development process
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proven track record to achieve stretch goals in a highly innovative and fast-paced environment
• Passion for technical leadership and mentoring.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Agile/SCRUM enterprise-scale software development
• Experience with fleet orchestration or infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform
• Knowledge of DevOPS fundamentals and tools
• Knowledge of AI productivity tools and fundamentals
• Working familiarity with monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Nagios or others.

Responsibilities

• As a Senior Member of Technical Staff, you will work with a team of engineers in defining, designing, and delivering the software using latest technologies on OCI.
• You should be able to understand broad systems interactions, be hands-on, be able to dive deep into any part of the stack, and have a good sense of cloud infrastructure.
• You should value simplicity and impact, work comfortably in a collaborative, agile environment, and be excited to learn.
• You should have experience developing and operating high-scale services, and an understanding of how to make these cloud-scale services resilient.
• The ideal candidate will be technically strong and productive; someone who knows how to balance speed and quality with iterative and incremental improvements.
• You understand operational excellence and know-how to infuse a culture of being proactive within your team.
