L&T Corporate IT seeks a dynamic Engineering graduate with Core Networking skillsets to enhance & optimize L&T’ Corporate Datacenter & be a transformative professional that drives Business to IT Connect.

Key Responsibilities

Network Management for Datacenter & Locations

Drive Transformation & Implementation projects for various Businesses of L&T with expertise in Datacenter Networking.
Ensure a robust WAN, LAN, P2P, and Link infrastructure to the various businesses of L&T.
Liase with multiple IT operations & Business teams within to ensure committed SLA / OLA’ are delivered & exceed customer expectations.
Innovate to find optimized solutions to business needs within budget & drive Network procurements for the Corporate Data center.
Lead a Team of networking professionals in a dynamic environment to ensure issues are addressed in a satisfactory manner.

ISP Management

Drive Governance across various Partner ISPs to ensure a robust Link infrastructure & commitment to SLA’ & network performance.
Find innovative ways to derive maximum value of investments made & optimize cost of doing business.
Ensure accurate invoicing from Partner ISPs & innovate to automate the billing process.

Network Security

Drive ‘Secure by Design’ principle in various aspects of the network by ensuring conformance to set security guidelines & out of the box solutions.
Be a bridge between Operations & Security to ensure security at every aspect of IT systems & drive Governance.
Drive Governance across Technical & Business teams to ensure optimized use of Datacenter equipment.
Ensure strict adherence to Hardening Guidelines, review SOPs & architectures & identify avenues of improved security & performance.
Be a SPOC between the Operations Team & Auditors (Internal & External). Drive any audit observations to closure.

Datacenter perations

Be responsible for Corporate Datacenters across Critical locations & ensure smooth always ON operations.
Innovate to ensure sustainable DC operations & adherence to Environment Health & Safety norms.
Ensure Security of Datacenters which host information critical to L&T’s Business.

Desired Candidate Profile

Preferable candidate with a bachelor’s degree in engineering with at least 5 years of experience in an Enterprise Datacenter Setup.
Core Experience in Routing & Switching, managing Firewalls & Load balancers.
Core experience in ISP relationship management.
Knowledge of ITIL, ISO 27001 standards is a must.
Exposure to Security & ISO Audits is a must.
Knowledge of Virtualization, Active Directory, Databases, Azure would be an added advantage.
Certifications in Networks, Datacenter are preferrable.
