Network & Infrastructure Engineer
- 7am - 5pm (4 days onsite and 1 at home)
- Liverpool Street station

A large financial services firm is looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to be in charge of their UK infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Provide server, desktop support (both (physical and virtual).
- Investigating connectivity, network and firewall issues.
- Performing morning checks, keeping records and responding to health monitoring and security alerts.
- Responsible for data backup and recovery.
- Undertaking business continuity & disaster recovery planning and testing.
- Managing the service desk for EMEA. Managing the onboarding and offboarding of employee network and systems access.
- Investigating and resolving issues with email delivery, Microsoft Office 365 tools, landline & mobile telephony, voice recording, printing and other BTIG applications and technology services.
- Working closely with infrastructure, network and end user teams globally.
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an infrastructure and networking role.
- Worked at a hedge fund, a financial services firm or law firm.
- Fluent in English.
- Professional work attitude (positive / arrive on time / dressed smart / polite).
- Used VMWare ESXi, Hyper-V, CISCO and Artista .
