A fast-growing fintech business, scaling at an incredible pace, is looking for a UI Developer to contribute to the development of robust API solutions. With significant growth over the past year, this is an opportunity to make a major impact in a company that values innovation, efficiency, and scalability. Flexibility to work hybrid with the main HQ in Sydney. The project will run for at least 12 months.

REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS

• 5-8 years of IT implementation experience, with at least 4 years of API development experience
• Strong expertise in Java 8, Spring Boot, and Restful APIs
• Experience with Hibernate, PL/SQL (Oracle and MS SQL Server)
• Knowledge of Spring frameworks (MVC, JDBC, Swagger)
• Hands-on experience with Postman collections and unit testing (JUnit)
• Strong understanding of design patterns and software architecture
• Proficiency in Git and CI/CD tools such as Bamboo and Jenkins
• Experience in Agile environments with Jira for task allocation and defect management
• Exposure to IaaS platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases
• Experience with build automation tools such as Gradle and Maven
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, Node.js, and front-end technologies such as ReactJS, HTML5, and CSS3
• Experience in JavaScript testing frameworks like Jest/Enzyme
• Understanding of API communications, web standards, and accessibility
