A finance house is looking for a Full-Stack .NET Developer to contribute to the development of secure, scalable enterprise applications and APIs. With significant growth over the past year, this is an opportunity to play a key role in a team that values innovation, efficiency, and robust engineering practices. This role offers hybrid working arrangements based in Sydney, with a 12-month contract duration.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise web applications using .NET, React, Next.js, and related technologies.
• Build and enhance secure APIs to facilitate seamless communication between frontend applications and backend services.
• Implement best practices for security and compliance, ensuring data protection and system integrity.
• Optimise API performance, error handling, and latency management.
• Work collaboratively in an Agile environment, contributing to sprint planning and daily stand-ups.
• Utilise collaboration tools for source control, version management, and code reviews.

REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS

• 7+ years of experience as a Full-Stack Software Engineer.
• Expertise in .NET development, including C# and .NET Core.
• Strong knowledge of React, Next.js, and modern frontend frameworks.
• Experience with API design, development, and security best practices.
• Hands-on experience with Postman collections and unit testing (xUnit, NUnit, or JUnit).
• Solid understanding of design patterns and software architecture.
• Proficiency in Git and CI/CD tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Bamboo, Jenkins).
• Agile experience with Jira for task allocation and defect management.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Proficiency in build automation tools such as Gradle and Maven.
• Knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience with JavaScript testing frameworks (Jest/Enzyme).
• Strong understanding of authentication protocols and secure coding practices.
• Experience working within Agile methodologies and sprint planning.
• Experience deploying code on Windows and Linux platforms.
• Strong documentation skills.
