DevOps Engineer

If you’re a Senior DevOps Engineer who is looking to join a well-known leader in their field, this is your chance. Verse Group are currently partnered with this industry leader to find a Senior DevOps Engineer to complete their Infrastructure team for an initial 12-month contract.

Reporting directly into the Infrastructure Squad Lead, this role will see you responsible for the infrastructure this client develops and deploys, supporting multiple teams.

You will play a vital part of driving continuous improvement, while also supporting the IT systems internally.

This role will see you:

• Implement highly available, highly scalable and secure infrastructure to support production deployments
• Assist the team in identifying and defining any internal process improvements (the creation of automated environments, product deployment, etc.)
• Automation Provide guidance and subject matter expertise to development teams to ensure the creation of continuous build and integration pipelines
• Create and maintain VM images and base containers for use internally

Now, let’s talk technology :

• Proven experience working with AWS Infrastructure
• Experience with Kubernetes container orchestration systems
• Docker Swarm container experience is required
• Experience in building Ansible managed system configuration
• Proven experience building Terraform managed infrastructure
• Experience configuring an managing GitHub Actions
• Proven experience building custom Continuous Integration pipelines
• Experience with Linux System Administration (particularly Redhat / Debian) will be highly looked upon

Please note- to be considered for this role, you must be based in Perth, Western Australia, as this role will have days where you are required to be in office.
