Machine Learning Engineer

The Role

We are looking for a skilled Machine Learning Engineer to contribute to the design, development, and deployment of advanced machine learning models that tackle complex, real-world challenges. This is an opportunity to join an innovating startup as one of their founding ML Engineers and help build some of the country's coolest tech.

Your Background

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.
• 4-5 years of experience.
• Training machine learning models, particularly in deep learning and NLP.
• Deploying models onto edge devices
• Optimizing models for real-world applications.
• Strong proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow).
• Experience with model performance optimisation in constrained environments.
• Solid understanding of neural networks and machine learning methodologies.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with hardware acceleration
• Experience with reinforcement learning or transfer learning techniques.
• Strong software engineering skills, including version control (Git) and collaborative workflows.
• Prior experience working in a collaborative, fast-paced team.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Willingness to engage in fieldwork and travel as needed.
