Job Title: Assistant Project Manager Multilingual (English + either Estonian, Finnish, Maltese or Slovenian) – Freelance position

Join Our Team
We are looking for a motivated and dynamic Assistant Project Manager to join our team and contribute to the successful implementation of the Multilingual Secretariat active between the end of April 2025 to April 2026, with specific needs during event periods.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting the project management team in the planning and execution of the two in-person sessions and one online session.
- Coordinating logistics, communication, and participant management (emails and phone assistance)
- Contributing to the overall success of the team
Qualifications :
- Fluency in either Estonian, Finnish, Maltese or Slovenian is required.
Please note: If you speak other European languages, your application will not be considered, as we have already found candidates for those languages.
- Excellent written and spoken English (essential).
- Bachelor’s degree (or currently pursuing).
- Availability for approximately 45 days (more or less 2hours per week except peak days before events) between April 2025 and April 2026, split across three periods (subject to change slightly):
- Mid-April to end of September (15 days)
- Beginning of October to Beginning of December (15 days)
- Beginning of January to Beginning of March (15 days)
- Availability on the phone during evenings and weekends during event periods.
- Proficient in Excel
- General knowledge of translating tools is a plus.
- Strong soft skills, including team spirit, customer service, and ability to work well under pressure.
- Previous experience in project management is a plus.
- Based in Brussels is a plus.
- Interest for youth engagement and environmental governance.
Recruitment period will happen from February 17th to March 21st
