About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Product Designer to join our dynamic team and lead in design. This role is perfect for a visionary and proactive designer who excels in crafting seamless user experiences and striking interfaces for mobile and web applications. You will work directly with the Sr. Product Manager and Creative and Engineering leads to guide the design process, from research and ideation to prototyping and final execution, shaping the product vision and driving innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Vision: Collaborate with PMs, developers, and Creative stakeholders to define and articulate a compelling product vision that aligns with business goals and user needs.
• UX/UI Design: Lead the end-to-end design process, creating intuitive, user-centric designs for web and mobile platforms. Ensure designs are visually compelling and functionally effective.
• Prototyping: Develop interactive prototypes to test concepts, gather feedback, and iterate on ideas quickly.
• User Research: Ability to conduct and take part in user research and usability testing to understand customer pain points and validate design decisions. Leverage insights to enhance the user experience.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the feasibility of designs and their successful implementation. Advocate for design thinking throughout the organization..
• Innovation: Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and best practices. Introduce innovative ideas and approaches to improve design quality and efficiency.

Bonus Points:

• Contribute to our design systems in Figma via variables, components to maintain consistency across products
• Experience with startups in fast-paced environment
• Experience in social media applications and/or travel applications
• Experience leading a small team of other designers OR being a strong individual contributor
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing UX and UI designs for mobile and web applications.
• Expertise in design tools such as Figma and UX research tools Proven experience in creating interactive prototypes
• Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum workflows and a team-oriented mindset.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and advocate for the user.
• Experience working solo and owning the design process end-to-end in a startup or on a very small team of designers
