We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data & AI Engineer to join our knowledge management team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, AI technologies, and a passion for solving complex problems. As we are moving towards cloud solutions in our data management, this role offers the opportunity to help build our new data platform and participate in building new capabilities for our data management and reporting.

What we expect:

• Strong experience with ELT/ETL solutions and tools (e.g., Python, Airflow, dbt)
• Knowledge of modern development practices (e.g., version control & CI/CD)
• Understanding of business intelligence and the role of AI in data analytics
• Experience in designing and optimizing data storage solutions, including data warehouses and data lakes
• Proficiency in working with databases (SQL)
• Ability to quickly learn new concepts and understand broader contexts
• A positive and solution-oriented attitude
• Fluent communication skills in Finnish and English

The following skills will be beneficial in this role:

• Experience with cloud technologies
• Understanding of modern data platforms (e.g., Fabric)
• Experience with BI tools (e.g. Power BI)
• Understanding of AI (e.g. Copilot, Azure OpenAI, Amazon Bedrock)
• Analytical skills (statistical methods)
• Experience with data management and governance tools (e.g., Purview)
• Experience in data modelling
