As an Intern, you’ll join the Amex GBT Neo Travel team. Amex GBT Neo is an Online Booking Tool (OBT) as well as an expense tool for business travel. It enables users to book a business trip in a user friendly and performant web application with different travel suppliers following his company travel policy.

Here are different possibilities of topics we can adapt depending on the personal skills and the duration of the internship:

• Propose and implement a prototype for the evolution of an internal tool which enables users to search among a large number of documents coming from various sources. The current tool is based on Apache Solr, and the prototype should introduce AI with a usage of a locally hosted LLM. (Python, Node.js, Vue.js)
• Explore new capacities given by the activation of the “ML Commons Plugin” to an OpenSearch deployment
• Participate in activities around security. Contribute to security enhancements based on static code analysis (C#, Javascript), be member of our application security group at development level.

• Operational knowledge in C#, Vue.js, Python, Node.js, Javascript (depending on the chosen project)
