.NET Full-stack Developer (back-end focus)

About the role

You will be part of a FlexiTech group, which provide software development and testing experts for various domains in If company. Your line manager will support you in planning your learning and future career development. In your assignment role you will join Nordic Claims domain, Search & Rescue squad, working on coverage search product family.

Your team and its colleagues consist of people working in different expertise areas and in different locations: your core team members will be in Riga, other collaboration colleagues in Stockholm. Team is relaxed and supportive, but also ambitious and continuously improving the ways of working. And no worries, your team is not the only one working in agile way: we have an agile operating model largely in use in the company. In our agile operating setup, your team is included in Cure tribe where everyone’s goal is the best customer experience across the Nordics when it comes to handling claims situations digitally.

What are you going to do?

• You will use your technical and domain expertise to contribute to both development projects and teams’ success.
• You will work closely with other developers and play a key role in ensuring that internal systems are technically well designed and provide smooth customer experiences in all the Nordic countries. In practice, this means that you will work in one of our cross-functional agile teams which design and align technical solutions with related systems
• You and other developers will be building APIs with Azure hosted services and will utilize expertise with C#, .NET, and Web API’s in daily work. The main focus and work area is in back-end part of our services

What do we expect from you?

Must have

• 3+ years of experience in software development (mid/senior level)
• Deep knowledge of backend software development with C#/.Net
• Good understanding of REST API development (.NET)
• Experience with Git environments, pull requests, and code reviews
• Day-to-day responsibilities require a good/excellent level of English and Latvian to communicate with clients and colleagues from Latvia and other countries
• Solid understanding of HTML and CSS
• Experience with integration of third-party services via API
• Experience with Entity Framework, or NoSQL
• Strong debugging skills and an analytical mindset, with a proactive approach to identifying and solving complex issues

Nice to have / We can also help you to develop

• Experience with modern web development frameworks and tools (e.g. React, Vue, TypeScript/JavaScript)
• Proficient in Azure Cloud, DevOps, and Git environments
• Familiarity with GitHub Copilot or other AI assistants is an advantage
• Relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or equivalent work experience
