Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer

Location: Almere (Hybrid: 50/50)

Salary: Up to €130K

Our client specializes in customized connectivity solutions, bridging the gap between hardware, software, and infrastrucutre. They work on cutting-edge technologies, including GNSS systems, sensors, and laser equipment—crucial for precision-driven industries like the Dutch Defence Force, specifically the navy.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Leading a large-scale migration from GCP to bare-metal Linux.
• Working in a small, skilled team of one other DevOps Engineer and nine developers.
• Designing, maintaining, and automating infrastructure for mission-critical systems.
• Building tools to improve system resilience and minimize errors.

What You Need

• At least eight years of experience in Infrastructure or DevOps, ideally with a networking background.
• Deep knowledge of bare-metal Linux and network architecture.
• Familiarity with public cloud environments, preferably GCP or AWS
• Strong programming skills in Ruby, Golang, or Python.
• Experience handling complex, secure, and sensitive data.
