Business Intelligence Specialist

BI Specialist – Breda | Up to €65K | Drive Our Data-Driven Transformation

We’re looking for a BI Specialist to take ownership of our Business Intelligence landscape, ensuring high-quality data insights and supporting a data-driven culture across the organization. This is a new role within our IT & Data team, offering the opportunity to shape and optimize BI solutions from the ground up.

📍 Location: Breda (Hybrid)

💰 Salary: Up to €65,000 per year

Your Role

As a BI Specialist, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and improving our BI environment. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders, the IT & Data team (including the Architect and Master Data Specialist), and external vendors to ensure seamless data access and usability.

Your key responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize dashboards – Perform analyses and enhance visualization tools to support decision-making.
• Monitor and resolve BI issues – Ensure data integrity and dashboard functionality.
• Drive BI adoption – Train key users, develop training programs, and improve internal usage of analytics products.
• Manage BI frameworks and strategy – Implement best practices and maintain governance over BI processes.
• Collaborate with vendors – Ensure compliance with agreements and SLAs.
• Expand data integration – Unlock insights beyond Finance & Operations (F&O) and Customer Engagement (CE).

Who You Are

We’re looking for a proactive problem solver with strong analytical skills and hands-on BI experience. You enjoy working independently but also thrive in a team setting, helping others leverage data effectively.

What you bring:

✔ Strong expertise in Power BI and DAX

✔ Experience in developing and maintaining dashboards and reports

✔ Ability to train and support key users in data-driven decision-making

✔ Excellent English communication skills (Dutch is a plus)

Nice to have:

➕ Experience with SQL, ETL processes, and data modeling

➕ Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O and CE

➕ Knowledge of cloud-based BI solutions and data platforms
