Job Description

JD – NodeJS - Developer

Primary Support Hours - Hong Kong Timings (6:00 AM IST to 3:00 PM IST).

Will be required to support under the 24x7 coverage within the Team roster planning

Must haves -

Strong working experience with of ReactJS, Node JS, API Development, AWS

Nice haves -

JavaScript and modern libraries, react native and HTML/CSS

Proficiency with RDS (such as PostgreSQL )

Proficiency with test automation: Experience with writing unit and regression testing.

Proficiency with containers architectures and infrastructure-as-code principles

Proficiency with Cloud native stack, build on AWS.

Familiarity with Alteryx reporting workflow creation process.

DevOps and Automation frameworks/tools like Git, Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform and Docker

Knowledge of modernize application development, best practices and design patterns

Responsibilities -

Design, develop, and support software components anywhere in the Software stack.

Ability to work independently on tasks with the opportunity to get input from other engineers as needed.

Collaborate with other engineers to evaluate and identify solutions to complex problems.

Open, communicative and like working in a small teams.

Tools & Technology

Node.js, React JS (must)

Power BI (nice to have)

SSRS, Tableau, Alteryx (nice to have)

Selenium, Jest, mocha, (or similar testing frame work, nice to have)

PostgreSQL or any RDA (nice to have)

AWS, Docker, Jenkins, Git (nice to have)

Some exposure to AWS ECS, Fargate, EC2, EKS, RDS, S3 (nice to have)

Skill sets for future new feature work (best that you know as of now)

The skills required for future new features remains the same as ongoing BAU, but we will need more Cloud migration experience.

Skill set for future changes in architecture/product platform strategy (moving to cloud, DevSecOps, any other major shift)

Same as above, plus expertise in Cloud, DevOps and Automation frameworks/tools

Skills that you personally wish to learn in order to better serve and support business partners (Tech and Soft)

AI and related tech stack to build prototype for Pricing and Risk management solutions.
