Java Technical Lead

We are looking for a Lead Engineer to drive the technical delivery of end-to-end solutions for our Investment Banking products in an Agile environment. This role involves technical design, coding, automated testing, and integration, working closely with Product Owners, Architects, Developers, and Testers to implement solutions using modern technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Develop new applications to support the Investment Banking business, collaborating with stakeholders across teams.
• Design and implement microservices architecture in a global environment with distributed teams.
• Guide teams in modern engineering practices, ensuring efficient software development, testing, and deployment.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.
• Ensure seamless integration of systems and work towards a unified architectural roadmap.
• Promote DevOps and SRE principles, ensuring system reliability and scalability.
• Define and implement automated testing as a standard development practice.
• Structure deliverables into epics & stories, ensuring smooth integration for production releases.
• Set and enforce KPIs for software delivery while aligning with broader business objectives.

Required Skills:

• 10+ years of experience in software development.
• Strong expertise in Java and Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data).
• Microservices development experience.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP preferred) and containerization.
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL), NoSQL knowledge is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication skills in a collaborative team environment.
• Experience working in Agile teams with the ability to adapt to evolving requirements.
