Position Summary
As a Data & Analytics Specialist, you will collaborate with functions, business units, and factories to leverage data and drive new business insights. You will extract and transform data from multiple sources, combining them into the required datasets for analytics and visualization purposes. You will provide technical expertise to the team and Swiss market functions on data analytics topics. Additionally, you will lead our product information activities and developments, ensuring quality and seamless data transmission to our customers.

Position Summary
As a Data & Analytics Specialist, you will collaborate with functions, business units, and factories to leverage data and drive new business insights. You will extract and transform data from multiple sources, combining them into the required datasets for analytics and visualization purposes. You will provide technical expertise to the team and Swiss market functions on data analytics topics. Additionally, you will lead our product information activities and developments, ensuring quality and seamless data transmission to our customers.

A Day in the Life of a Data & Analytics Specialist
- Collaborate and communicate with teams to identify their needs, coordinate and implement impactful solutions that support business ambitions.
- Extract, transform, and integrate data from diverse sources to create comprehensive datasets for analysis and visualization.
- Ensure product information accuracy by assessing and monitoring data in source systems for publication in the Global Data Synchronization Network (GDSN), adhering to the latest GS1 standards for quality and timeliness.
- Act as lead for product information projects within Nestlé Switzerland, facilitating communication and implementation of changes across the organization.
- Facilitate a network of digital connected champions in factories to ensure data best practices, processes and solutions are implemented and efficient.
- Bachelor or Master’s level degree in Computer Science, Engineering and 4 years of working experience in manipulating data (with exposure to Cloud solutions)
- Willingness to challenge well-established processes and routines
- Tech savvy with a curious mindset, good listening skills and business understanding
- Experience in analytics activities in cross-functional and global organization
- Experience with Office 365 Power Platform
- Experience with Power BI, Power Query and Dax is a must
- Experience in working with SAP, ETL/analytics solutions, data-as-a-service platforms (Azure & Snowflake is a plus)
- Knowledge of SQL and Python
- Experience with Robotics Process Automation is a plus
- Good analytical skills and ability to work within cross-functional and remote teams
- Fluent in English, working proficiency in French, German is an asset
