💡 About the Role

Reporting to the Detect & Respond Lead, you’ll play a key role in identifying, analyzing, and responding to security threats. You’ll work closely with SIEM, IDS/IPS, and EDR solutions, perform threat hunting, develop security playbooks, and support incident response activities.

🔍 Key Responsibilities

✔ Investigate security alerts from SIEM, IDS/IPS, and EDR tools

✔ Support incident response – containment, eradication, recovery

✔ Proactively monitor security systems for threats & anomalies

✔ Conduct vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation

✔ Stay updated on emerging threats & attack techniques

✔ Collaborate with MSSP, engineers & security stakeholders

✔ Develop & refine security playbooks for efficient response

🎯 Who We’re Looking For

✅ 4+ years of experience as a Security Analyst

✅ Strong knowledge of SIEM, threat intelligence, and network security

✅ Experience with CrowdStrike, Rapid7, Digital Shadows (preferred)

✅ Hands-on cloud security experience (AWS, GCP, or Azure)

✅ Familiarity with ISO 27001, PCI DSS compliance

✅ Security certifications like Security+, GCIH, CySA+, CCSP, AWS Security Specialty (nice to have)
