Job Title: Senior Mobile Developer

Location: Vancouver, BC

Contract Duration: 12 Months (Target Start Date: April 7, 2025)

Experience Level: Senior (5+ years)


Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Mobile Developer to lead the development of iOS and Android applications. The successful candidate will have strong experience in Swift, SwiftUI, and the MVVM model and will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and optimizing mobile applications. This role requires deep technical expertise, a passion for mobile development, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and delivery of innovative mobile applications (iOS and Android).
  • Conduct regular testing, debugging, and quality assurance reviews to ensure optimal performance.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in mobile development, guiding coding practices and solution design.
  • Partner with project management to deliver status updates and performance improvements.
  • Research and implement best practices in mobile development and emerging technologies.
  • Maintain relevant technical documentation and conduct knowledge transfer sessions.
  • Ensure production readiness and reliability, including participation in on-call support rotations.
  • Drive the continuous improvement of mobile application architecture and development workflows.
  • Monitor key application performance metrics and propose enhancements.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to implement CI/CD principles and automation.


Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in mobile development with a strong focus on iOS.
  • Expertise in Swift, SwiftUI, and MVVM architecture.
  • Proficiency with Xcode Instruments and Firebase for performance optimization.
  • Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications.
  • Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies.
  • Experience working with bug tracking and task management software (e.g., JIRA).
  • Prior experience in eCommerce, retail, manufacturing, logistics, or supply chain solutions is a plus.
  • Ability to mentor junior engineers and lead technical discussions.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
