About Us
King’s Digital is an innovative and collaborative team at the core of King’s College London’s online education development. We partner with academics and professional services staff across the university and with our external partners to design, develop and deliver a wide range of educational programmes in line with King's Education Strategy. Together, we develop online master's degrees, short courses, bespoke executive education courses, and increasingly, stackable micro-credentials.
We are a dynamic team with ambitious growth targets in a priority area of development. As we welcome a temporary team member for this maternity cover post, we proudly maintain our supportive culture and community, prioritising both individual and collective wellbeing. We actively work to protect and improve the wellbeing of all staff—be it physical, mental, or social—and recognise this as central to our work and success.
The role is primarily based at King’s Strand Campus though you may be required to travel to other campuses on occasion. As part of King’s trial of hybrid working, all team members can work remotely for part of the week if they wish.
About The Role
This maternity cover role is part of the User Experience team and will collaborate with user experience research, product design, and web development to enhance the learning platform that supports our online and blended courses.

Bringing your passion for UX research and design, you will support the team in making informed decisions based on learners’ needs—positively impacting engagement, adoption, retention, and task success. Your work will play a key role in maintaining momentum and continuity as we shape the future of education.
This is a full-time post (35 Hours per week), and you will be offered a fixed term contract from 10th April 2025 until 14th November 2025.
