Web Developer

One of our Charity Organisation Client is seeking to engage a Web Developer. This is a short-term contractual position.

Eligibility: You must be at least a Permanent Resident OR an Australian Citizen

Budget: $750/ Day (Inc Super/ + GST)

Position Description:

We are seeking a proven Web Developer to join the Charity Organisation Client team on a 3-month contract, with the potential for an extension. The successful candidate will have a strong portfolio of WordPress projects and be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing the organization’s website.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and update WordPress websites.
• Customize WordPress themes, plugins, and implement customizations as needed.
• Ensure website performance, security, and compliance with SEO best practices.
• Work with website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to monitor and improve performance.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Web Developer with a strong portfolio of WordPress projects.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
• Experience with WordPress themes, plugins, and customizations.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
• Strong understanding of website security and performance optimization.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Good communication skills for training and collaboration.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Certification in WordPress development (e.g., WP Elevation, Yoast SEO for WordPress).
• Certification in web development technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Google Analytics Certification is a plus.
• Experience in graphic design and multimedia content creation.
• Familiarity with other web development frameworks and CMS platform.
