Developer

As a Developer, you'll design, develop, maintain, and improve web-based insurance solutions as part of a large Generative AI program of work. We're looking for someone with strong commercial web development experience, ideally with Django, react or similar frameworks, who is a big picture thinker and can simplify complex use cases and create value for our customers. Experience with Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools is a bonus.

What You’ll Do

• Implement the full solution lifecycle: development, testing, deployment, and maintenance
• Build scalable, reusable components for web applications
• Collaborate with Business Analysts and Pipeline Managers to assess technical feasibility
• Develop and execute testing plans to ensure alignment with business requirements
• Support and maintain existing solutions, including troubleshooting and root cause analysis
  
  

What You’ll Bring

• Tertiary qualification in Business Technology or equivalent (desired)
• Commercial experience in web development using Django/React
• Proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Experience with RPA tools (desired)
• Knowledge of other scripting languages (Python, Perl, PowerShell)
• Experience with Containerisation (e.g., OpenShift)
