DevOps Engineer

Contract Role : 6-months (+extensions)

Dayrate : $950 to $1150

Your new company:

One of Australia’s top internet service provider specializing in consumer and business internet service is hiring an AWS DevOps Engineer for a 6-month contractual assignment.

Your new role:

As an expert DevOps professional, you’ll be designing, implementing, and rolling out a new AWS platform with an automation framework, adhering to policies, standards, and best practices. For this you’ll also:

• Collaborate with Technology stakeholders to manage system migrations and new builds on the new platform.
• Ensure the platform integrates with necessary tools like SIEM, APM, SRM, ITSM, etc.
• Implement a CI/CD pipeline for automated system deployments, aligning with security, operational, and cloud standards.
• Plan and adapt to industry changes, leveraging opportunities and managing risks.
• Protect TPG's brand, reputation, and profitability by safeguarding information assets and systems.

What you'll need to succeed:

• Experience with AWS networking (Direct Connect, Network Firewalls, Transit Gateways)
• Strong knowledge of Infrastructure-As-Code (Cloud Formation)
• Proficiency with AWS Build and Deploy tools (Code Build, Code Deploy, Code Pipeline)
• Highly skilled in Python and other programming languages
• Essential experience in automation and delivering automated solutions
• Familiarity with the well-architected framework is a plus
• Ability to work with a range of stakeholders, from application teams to senior stakeholders
