Role: Sr. Network Engineer (Cisco Routing and Switching) who is well versed with Ansible automation.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer with expertise in Cisco Routing, Cisco Switching, and Ansible Automation to join our IT infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network solutions that ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and maintain Cisco routers and switches to ensure high availability and performance.
• Implement and manage network automation using Ansible to improve efficiency and reduce operational overhead.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues related to routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP) and switching technologies.
• Optimize network infrastructure for scalability, security, and performance.
• Perform network monitoring, analysis, and reporting to detect and mitigate potential issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business operations and IT initiatives.
• Maintain and update network documentation, including configurations, diagrams, and procedures.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve network performance and automation capabilities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on Cisco networking solutions.
• Strong hands-on experience with Cisco routing (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP) and switching (VLANs, STP, EtherChannel, etc.).
• Proficiency in Ansible for network automation, including writing and maintaining playbooks.
• Knowledge of network security best practices, including firewalls, VPNs, and access control policies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
