Data Scientist - Brussels - Freelance

We are looking for a Data scientist to support FME data flows related to asset management. The role involves processing, analyzing, and managing large datasets using FME software and SQL. The candidate will work in a small team, collaborating closely to develop and implement data solutions. The data comes from various applications and is ultimately stored in a SQL Server environment.

Experience required:

• Experience working in an Agile team
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python
• Basic knowledge of GIS (Geographic Information Systems)
• Experience in optimizing/tuning databases and queries
• Experience with FME
• Experience in analyzing data flows
• Experience with SQL Server
• Experience in data analysis
• Proficiency in Dutch at CEFR level C2
• Experience with databases (SQL, Oracle)
• Experience with scripting (Shell, Perl, Python)

Working Arrangement:

12 month B2B contract freelance
