As one of the first tech hires, your role goes beyond code—you’ll be a builder, innovator, and team shaper. Here’s a look at what you’ll be doing:

• End-to-End Ownership: Lead the backend development of features and infrastructure that powers data-driven recruiting.


• Full-Stack Collaboration: While your focus is on the backend, experience in front-end development with React is a big plus. You’ll have the flexibility to contribute across the stack, bringing ideas and innovation to both front and back end.


• Cloud Infrastructure Mastery: Design and implement scalable cloud-based solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage, and Cloud Run.


• API & Data Integration: Develop and optimize RESTful APIs for smooth data integration across multiple recruiting platforms.


• Database Management: Optimize, manage, and scale databases to ensure fast, reliable data handling that supports our mission for seamless data exchange.

We’re seeking entrepreneurial-minded developers who thrive in dynamic environments and are excited by the prospect of full ownership over their work. Here’s what we’d love to see:

• Startup Enthusiasm: You’re passionate about building something from scratch and ready to contribute to the vision of an early-stage company.


• Technical Prowess & Independence: Ideally 3+ years of full-stack experience, with a strong focus on backend development in B2B applications, and a confident approach to leading projects independently.


• Proficiency with Our Stack: You have experience or are excited to learn our stack—Python, Django, React (a big plus), RESTful APIs, and GCP.


• Problem-Solving Drive: You bring a proactive, “get it done” mentality and thrive in a fast-paced environment where you can own solutions end-to-end.


• Bonus: Experience in early-stage startups or your own entrepreneurial projects is highly valued.
