ReactJS Frontend Developer

Job Description: Our client, based in Dublin, is seeking a ReactJS Frontend Developer with strong Azure experience to join their innovative development team on a contract basis. The role focuses on delivering high-quality, scalable, and robust frontend solutions. This is a 12 month minimum hybrid contract role (3 days on site / 2 days from home) in Dublin City Centre.

About the Position

We’re seeking a talented, highly motivated software engineer with extensive development experience in UI Development to join us on a contract basis.

As a member of a new squad, you will be key to delivering new tools and capability for colleagues around the world. You will be working with engineers, architects, designers and domain experts to build web based tools with modern software tools and practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and maintain high-quality, scalable frontend applications.
• Continuously improve and optimize frontend performance and user experience.
• Collaborate closely with business domain leads, users, designers, and backend engineers to ensure seamless integration of frontend components through APIs and smooth data flow.
• Optimize applications for performance, observability, and reliability.
• Perform testing before release. Write and maintain unit tests and integration tests to ensure code stability and reliability

Candidate Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in frontend development with a strong focus on frameworks such as React.js, Next.js
• Proficient in JavaScript, Typescript, HTML, and CSS, with a solid understanding of modern frontend build tools and frameworks.
• Extensive experience in writing and maintaining unit tests and integration tests.
• Strong problem-solving skills and logical thinking, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve issues.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with AWS
• Exposure to backend technologies (Python, Node.js, or similar).

Educational Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
