Senior Director, Data Science & Machine Learning

I am working closely with leadership of a global technology company, who are looking for a Data Science Leader to join their Dublin R&D Office and drive innovation in media intelligence. As our new Senior Director of Data Science, you'll be at the forefront of shaping how we use AI and machine learning to revolutionize the media landscape.

What you'll be doing:

• Charting the course: You'll develop our AI and machine learning strategy, aligning it with our company's broader goals.
• Leading the charge: Guide our global data science team, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
• Pushing boundaries: Develop cutting-edge solutions for media verification, from brand safety to fraud detection.
• Building bridges: Work closely with product, engineering, and other teams to bring our AI solutions to life.
• Sharing insights: Translate complex data concepts into clear, actionable insights for various stakeholders.

What we're looking for:

• A strong technical background: Advanced degree in a field like machine learning, computer science, or statistics.
• Proven experience: 15+ years in data science, applying ML to real-world challenges.
• Leadership chops: 10+ years managing teams, including other managers.
• Technical expertise: Deep knowledge of text and multimedia classification, unsupervised learning, and network analysis.
• Practical skills: Familiarity with Python, SQL, machine learning frameworks, and cloud solutions.
• Communication ace: Ability to explain complex ideas in simple terms to both technical and non-technical audiences.
