Junior Data Scientist

HSPI S.p.A., a leader in IT Governance services and part of the TXT Group, is seeking a Junior Data Scientist for a new healthcare project with a client. The ideal candidate should be motivated and passionate about data analysis and machine learning.

The resource will work closely with the Data Science team to analyze data, build predictive models, and support data-driven business decisions.

Main responsibilities:

Analyze and preprocess large volumes of structured and unstructured data;
Develop and implement machine learning models to solve business problems;
Collaborate with the Data Engineering team for data integration and management;
Create effective visualizations to communicate analysis to various stakeholders;
Contribute to the maintenance and optimization of existing models;
Document code and methodologies to ensure reproducibility.

Requirements:

Knowledge of Python and data science libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch);
Basic experience with SQL and NoSQL databases;
Ability to manipulate and clean data from various sources;
Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn, Power BI, Tableau);
Basic understanding of machine learning algorithms and statistics;
Strong problem-solving skills and analytical mindset;
Experience with Git and MLOps frameworks (Docker, MLflow) is a plus.

Education: Bachelor's/Master's degree in STEM/scientific disciplines.
