Java Software Engineer (12 Month Contract)

We are hiring on behalf of our client for a Full Stack DevOps Engineer with Data Experience to join one of their DevOps teams within a public sector project. In this role, you will work in a dynamic Agile/DevOps environment, contributing to innovative software development and data solutions.

Location: Utrecht & Driebergen (Hybrid, 2 days per week on-site)

Start Date: 01/07/2025 | Duration: 12 months (Extension possible

What You’ll Do:

• Develop and maintain full-stack applications using Angular/Vue, JavaScript, TypeScript, and C#.NET
• Work with Kafka, RabbitMQ, PostgreSQL, Elastic, and Redis for data processing
• Implement CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, Ansible, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Ensure secure software development following OWASP standards
• Perform test automation with Selenium, Webdriver, Cypress, or TestCafe
• Set up and manage logging & monitoring solutions (LAAS, OpenShift/Kubernetes)

What We’re Looking For:

Must-Have:

• Dutch native speaker (required for communication & compliance)
• HBO ICT degree (or equivalent)
• 5+ years experience in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS, Angular, or Vue.js
• 3+ years experience in Agile/DevOps, Kafka/RabbitMQ, CI/CD pipelines, Test-Driven Development
• Strong knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift)
• Experience in test automation & CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Ansible)

Preferred Experience

• Experience with C#.NET & REST API development
• UI/UX skills with Adobe XD, Figma
• Background in Secure Software Development
