Senior Infrastructure Engineer – DeFi – Solana

This is an early-stage start-up at the heart of the Solana Ecosystem. Since being founded in 2024, they have begun to build the foundations to go live with two key products in H2 2025:

A yield-generating protocol, on Solana, with circa $100m TVL. They aim to offer enhanced & consistent yield opportunities for investors – both retail & institutional.

Alongside this, they will launch a SOL-native synthetic stablecoin – they will be one of the first to do this and are poised to be a market leader. In addition, they recently acquired a staking business, which operates over 9,000 validator nodes and services over $1bn in assets.

This will be one of the first infrastructure-focused positions within the business. You will be integral to maintaining architecture for large scale private cloud environments.

You will have some involvement in high-level discussions, but this is a hands-on position; you’ll need to be comfortable working in the trenches to ensure maximum observability, automation, performance and uptime.

The company promotes a high velocity, start-up environment with no bureaucracy. You need to be able to thrive autonomously but be keen to share ideas to continually improve processes.

DevOps, SRE, Infra, Cloud or Platform Engineers who have worked on the Solana chain previously will be a good fit. You need to have experience with public cloud providers and bare-metal is a must. Monitoring, alerting & metrics tools such as Prometheus & Grafana will be a requirement, and you’ll need to be an advanced user of K8's & Docker.

Any exposure to DevSecOps / security best practices will mean you’re able to hit the ground running and strong scripting / automation skills with Python / BASH are expected. Any prior history working with blockchain nodes, validators & DeFi protocols will really make you stand out.

Seeking:

• Experience in similar role(s) with sound knowledge of how to build & maintain large-scale, highly distributed systems.
• Working knowledge of architecture & best practices to drive performance and reliability.
• Knowledge of building & maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins / Gitlab / ArgoCD etc.)
• Exposure to the Solana blockchain - Prior experience working in the space & invested in the ecosystem.
• A team player who is keen to learn and grow within the role, but secure in sharing ideas & opinions.

Bonus points for:

• Rust development experience.
• Relevant personal/open-source projects.
