For our client in Basel, we are seeking a dynamic team member for an exciting temporary role (April 2025 - December 2026) as
RoME Product Manager
Tasks & Responsibilities:
• As an expert in Meetings and Events you will drive the development of the RoME ecosystem to deliver scalable, enterprise applicable solutions that meet the needs of a broad range of internal stakeholders and customers
• Provide company-wide business leadership and expertise on events & engagements in collaboration with the Solution Owner and rest of MarTech team
• Bring event management industry trends to the product development team to increase the relevance and future relevance of the solutions delivered.
• Anticipates internal and external customer needs through the review, analysis and evaluation of Global and affiliate operating models, adapting development of the solution to changing future focused business priorities
• Drives collaboration & transparency of decision-making to promote a culture of trust & co-creation with internal and external partners
• Collaborating with full RoME team, affiliates, global and above-country teams to engage them in the transition of legacy systems and deployment of RoME
• Collaboration across all product and service teams within the MarTech Team
• Collaborating with IT and our external strategic partners to deliver business requirements
• Assess, Interpret and translate Regulatory, Legal, Safety and Compliance policy to drive harmonised business process creation
• Is responsible for acting in line with legal, regulatory and company standards and codes of practice (such as Roche Code of Conduct and any other Roche directives and guidelines)
Must Haves:
• Minimum 5 years of experience working in the Meetings and Events arena - experience in global and affiliate-specific meeting and event business processes and working practice is highly desirable
• Proven knowledge on existing digital tools and platforms (e.g.PEGA, cVent, CRMs - IQVIA/Veeva, Salesforce)
• Experience partnering with technology partners and global technology teams
• Experience in working with Agile/Safe methodologies
• Experience in overseeing, managing and mobilizing - when needed - decentralized networks
• Deep understanding of business-led technology-driven, complex, and large scale customer engagement ecosystems
• Ability to make decisions independently
• Excellent organizational skills and systemic thinking
• Ability to work in a changing and evolving environment
• Strong communication skills in English
