Job Title: DevOps Engineer With Elasticsearch

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

1. Ensure the stable operation of Elasticsearch clusters, maintaining high availability and performance.

2. Design, maintain, and optimize monitoring of Elasticsearch clusters using Kibana.

3. Delegate and oversee tasks related to the production cluster, ensuring proper execution by the Ops team.

4. Develop and optimize monitoring for other system components using Prometheus and Grafana.

5. Lead and manage release activities for Elasticsearch and related platforms.

6. Collaborate effectively across teams to drive Agile application development.

7. Provide L3-level production support to ensure system stability and timely issue resolution.

Mandatory Skills and Experience:

• Expertise in Elasticsearch: Proven hands-on experience in managing Elasticsearch clusters, including design, optimization, and

troubleshooting.

• Proficiency in Unix Shell Scripting.

Recommended Skills:

• Solid understanding of the Hadoop Ecosystem, including tools such as Apache Spark Framework, Apache Hive, HDFS, Oozie and

Parquet.

• Experience with Data Warehousing concepts, especially ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and Scala language.

• Foundational knowledge of SQL, GIT, Gradle/Maven, and Java.

• Programming experience in Scala.

• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Bamboo and Jenkins.

• Proficiency in Gradle or Maven for build automation.

• Quantexa Certification (Quantexa Technical Academy Certification) or equivalent Data Engineer Certification.
