Job Summary:
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Freelance/Graphic Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in conceptualizing and creating visually compelling designs that align with our brand identity and marketing objectives. You will collaborate closely with various departments to deliver high-quality assets for digital and print platforms, ensuring a consistent and engaging visual experience for our audience.
PLEASE READ:
In the first interview session you are kindly expected to SHARE SCREEN and present your portfolio clearly focusing on the following:
· Key Visuals or master campaign visuals, out of Home specific work and special executions
· Advanced photo manipulation used for commercial purposes (i.e. NOT ARTISTIC WORK, ACTUAL WORK THAT WAS PUBLISHED) - Show examples of complex photo manipulation, retouching, or compositing work, projects that involve detailed layers, masking, blending, and color correction.
· Packaging design
· Logos and typograhy treatment examples in Arabic and English
· Senior Graphic Designer specific: Clear and defined contribution in 360 campaigns and other forms of collaborative work that involve multiple team members such as copywriters, art directors and creative leads.
· Senior Graphic Designer specific: Brand identify – with clear focus on typography, colour theory, guidelibes development
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop design assets for marketing campaigns, advertisements, social media, websites, and print materials.
· Collaborate with the marketing and content teams to translate ideas into creative visuals.
· Maintain and enhance brand guidelines, ensuring consistency across all design assets.
· Create and optimize graphics for various digital platforms, considering user experience and responsiveness.
· Prepare and deliver print-ready designs, working with external vendors as needed.
· Stay updated on industry trends and tools to continuously improve design quality and relevance.
· Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining attention to detail.
· Support the team with creative input and actively contribute to brainstorming sessions.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
· Proven experience (2+ years for Graphic Designer, 6 years plus for a Senior Graphic Designer) in graphic design, preferably in a marketing or creative agency setting.
· Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other design tools.
· Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of work across mediums including Key Visuals or master campaign visuals, out of Home specific work and special executions, packaging designs, advanced photo manipulation used for commercial purposes (i.e. NOT ARTISTIC WORK, ACTUAL WORK THAT WAS PUBLISHED), most importantly clear and defined contribution in 360 campaigns.
Skills and competencies:
· Excellent understanding of typography, color theory, and layout principles.
· Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
· Ability to adapt to brand guidelines while bringing fresh and creative ideas.
· Time management and organizational skills to handle multiple projects.
· Familiarity with motion graphics and video editing tools is a plus.
· Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to take constructive feedback.
· Bilingual capability and typefaces expertise in both Arabic and English is a major plus.
· Basic knowledge of web design and UX/UI principles is a bonus
