Job Title: L2 Network Administrator

Technical Skills:
In-depth knowledge of networking protocols, routing, switching, and security
Proficiency in network monitoring tools and troubleshooting techniques.
Industry background – From manufacturing companies (preferably automobile, automobile ancillaries) in Pune, having experience in a mixed environment of Window and Linux servers.
Interview mode: Available for F2F interviews only – there would be 1 technical round and 1 techno-managerial round of interview followed by HR discussion and selected candidate would need to submit documents and results of a mandatory prescribed medical test before offer is released.

Responsibilities:
Network Design and Architecture:
Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure network architectures.
Develop network solutions that align with organizational goals and industry best practices.
Router and Switch Configuration:
Configure and manage routers, switches, and other network devices.
Implement and optimize routing protocols, VLANs, and network segmentation.
Firewall and Security:
Design and implement firewall policies to ensure network security.
Monitor and respond to security incidents, conducting regular security audits.
Network Monitoring and Optimization:
Utilize network monitoring tools to assess performance and identify areas for improvement experienced in Cisco DNAC, ISE tools.
Optimize network configurations for maximum efficiency and reliability.
Wireless Network Management:
Design and manage wireless networks, including access points and controllers.
Implement security measures for wireless networks to prevent unauthorized access.
VPN and Remote Access:
Configure and manage Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) for secure remote access.
Ensure the integrity and confidentiality of data transmitted over VPN connections.
IP Address Management (IPAM):
Implement and maintain IP address schemes and IPAM solutions.
Troubleshoot IP address conflicts and optimize IP resource allocation.
Network Documentation:
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, topologies, and policies.
Keep documentation up-to-date with changes and improvements.
Collaboration with IT Teams:
Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to integrate network solutions with overall IT infrastructure.
Provide technical guidance and support to other IT professionals.
Vendor Management:
Work with network hardware and software vendors to evaluate, procure, and implement solutions.
Manage relationships with vendors and stay informed about product updates and advancements.
Incident Response and Troubleshooting:
Respond to network incidents promptly and conduct thorough troubleshooting.
Document incident details, resolutions, and preventive measures.
Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience:
Proven 6-7 years of experience as a Network Administrator with a strong track record in designing and managing complex and multi-locational networks.
Certifications:
Relevant certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate / Professional (CCNP) or equivalent certifications are preferred.
