DevOps Engineer

*Senior DevOps Engineer - Fully Remote -Up To £100K*

Christopher Ali have partnered up with an innovative UK based SaaS start- up who are at a watershed in its growth and require a Senior DevOps Engineer.

The role would suit someone available to start in March/April.

The role will be working on the clients infrastructure platform and will suit someone who has a deep knowledge of infrastructure automation and who delights in using code to create and maintain complex , high performance infrastructure.

You will be as comfortable working with the cloud as you are with physical hardware and have expertise in infrastructure domain.

Experience with Terraform would be advantageous as would a working knowledge of Ruby , Golang or Python and isn't phased by terms such as RFC1918.

Skills Required -

* Commercial experience using AWS , with proven skills around EC2 , IAM and VPC particularly.

* Highly experienced in Kubernetes , with the ability to administrate , automate and troubleshoot Kubernetes based systems.

* Linux system administration experience.

* Excellent Dev skills with the ability to code in at least one of the following languages - Pythion , Go , Ruby etc.

* Experience with a major CI/CD tool such as Jenkins , Circle , Github or similar.

* Exposure to monitoring tools such as Prometheus.

* Excellent knowledge of Terraform or Pulumi , with experience using them to automate both AWS and Kubernetes.

Nice to haves:

• Solid expertise in physical infrastructure, with experience setting up and maintaining equipment within a datacenter
• Understanding of physical networking, VLANs, routing protocols and VPNs
