One of our clients is seeking to engage WordPress/CMS/PHP/Web Developer for Canberra locations

Overview:
We are seeking a proven Web Developer to join our client on a 3-month contract, with the potential for an extension. The successful candidate will have a strong portfolio of WordPress projects and be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing the organization’s website.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and update WordPress websites.
- Customize WordPress themes, plugins, and implement customizations as needed.
- Ensure website performance, security, and compliance with SEO best practices.
- Work with website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to monitor and improve performance.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Web Developer with a strong portfolio of WordPress projects.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Experience with WordPress themes, plugins, and customizations.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
- Strong understanding of website security and performance optimization.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Good communication skills for training and collaboration.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Certification in WordPress development (e.g., WP Elevation, Yoast SEO for WordPress).
- Certification in web development technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Google Analytics Certification is a plus.
- Experience in graphic design and multimedia content creation.
- Familiarity with other web development frameworks and CMS platform.
