Network Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer with extensive experience in Cisco Routing and Switching and expertise in Ansible automation. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, implementing, and automating network infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and maintain Cisco network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Develop and implement network automation using Ansible to streamline deployment, configuration, and management tasks.
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely resolution to minimize downtime.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to support network-related requirements for business applications and cloud infrastructure.
• Optimize network security through best practices, including firewall policies, VPNs, and access control lists (ACLs).
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including network diagrams, automation playbooks, and standard operating procedures.
• Conduct regular network assessments and implement improvements to enhance reliability and scalability.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement in network operations.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong experience with Cisco Routing & Switching (CCNP or equivalent certification preferred).
• Hands-on expertise in network automation using Ansible (playbook development, YAML scripting, Jinja2 templates).
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and optimizing network performance using monitoring tools.
• Solid understanding of network security principles and protocols (VPN, ACLs, Firewalls, etc.).
• Experience with network design, implementation, and support in enterprise or data center environments.
• Knowledge of cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
• Ability to work in an Agile environment and collaborate with DevOps teams.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with SDN, SD-WAN, or Cisco ACI.
• Knowledge of Python for network scripting.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for automated network deployments.
